Meet Dr Tessa La Mela (Dentist)
Dr Tessa completed her Bachelor of Dental Science degree with First Class Honours at the University of Western Australia. Since then, Tessa has worked in both the public and private sectors of dentistry, but now dedicates all her clinical time to private practice.
She has furthered her studies by completing the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Primary Examinations with commendations in all six subjects, Level 1 Surgical and Restorative Implant Courses and is a certified clear aligner provider, being able to offer invisible orthodontic tooth straightening treatments such as Invisalign or Clear Correct. In 2016 she was awarded a full scholarship to complete a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Orthodontics (Sequential Aligner Therapy), which since completion has given her the ability to tackle a very wide range of cases from simple to complex, customised for each individual patient.
Personal Passion
Dr. Tessa was born and raised in Shenton Park and attended the local primary school.

Tessa has a passion for helping people overcome their dental anxieties and is known for being a patient and gentle practitioner. She enjoys treating patients of all ages including children. Her primary focus is on preventative dentistry and the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and gums. But her real passion is creating beautiful smiles with either tooth straightening, whitening, dentures or ceramic work, and will regularly complete entire smile makeover cases.
