Dr David Burgos y Luque chose dentistry because it lets him work with his hands, solve problems, and make a meaningful impact – all in one day. With a background in health and a love for fine detail, he saw dental care as a natural fit. The creative side of dentistry often gets overlooked – rebuilding a smile or improving function takes skill and vision. For him, dentistry is more than a profession; it’s a rewarding blend of science, care, and artistic craftsmanship.

Qualifications and Background
Dr David graduated from the University of Muenster in Germany in 2016 with a State Examination in Dentistry. Since then, he’s completed numerous continuing education courses in areas like orthodontics and Invisalign® Clear Aligners, leadership, dental implants, and communication. These extra skills allow him to adapt to individual patient needs while staying at the forefront of modern dental techniques.
Fluent in German, conversational in Spanish, and experienced with diverse cultural backgrounds, Dr David creates a welcoming space for everyone who walks through the doors of Shenton Park Family Dental.
A Thoughtful Approach to Patient Care
One of Dr David’s favourite parts of the job? Helping people feel at ease, especially those who arrive with anxiety or fear. He finds it very rewarding when someone who was initially nervous eventually feels relaxed and confident coming to see him.
Whether he’s relieving discomfort or improving someone’s smile, Dr David takes pride in seeing positive changes, sometimes even within the same visit. Long-term relationships matter, too. He values the trust patients place in him and enjoys watching families grow and smiles improve over time.
Life Outside the Clinic Walls
Originally from Germany, Dr David moved to Shenton Park in 2022. The natural beauty, laid-back lifestyle, and strong sense of community drew him. When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find him hiking a national park trail, cooking up a new recipe, or curled up on the couch with his wife and their cat, Cleo. He’s also a big fan of movie and game nights with friends.
